Terms and conditions
American Airlines, Inc. (“American Airlines”) offers the AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program for members of the AAdvantage® program who earn one million AAdvantage® miles. The AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program is part of the AAdvantage® program and is subject, at all times, to the AAdvantage® terms and conditions.
Any capitalized terms used but not defined in these AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program terms and conditions will have the meaning ascribed in the AAdvantage® terms and conditions.
Only AAdvantage® miles earned through travel on eligible American Airlines marketed flights or flights offered by certain airline AAdvantage® Partners count toward AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ status. Travel on fares that are ineligible to earn AAdvantage® miles will not be counted toward your AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ status. Bonus miles, such as most AAdvantage® miles earned through special promotional offers, do not count toward AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ status. American Airlines reserves the right, at its discretion, to determine which AAdvantage® miles count toward AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ status. AAdvantage® miles that are counted towards AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ status are always distance based, and the amount of miles applied towards AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ status may be different than the amount of AAdvantage® miles that accrue to your account for the same flight transaction.
Businesses that are members of the AAdvantage Business℠ program are not eligible for the AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program.
American Airlines reserves the right to change these AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program terms and conditions, the AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program more generally, and any thresholds and benefits contained in these AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program terms and conditions at any time with or without notice. AAdvantage® members who are part of the AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program may earn additional benefits upon earning AAdvantage® miles beyond certain additional thresholds, as determined by American Airlines in its discretion. Benefits earned through the AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program may be subject to their own terms and conditions.
If you obtained lifetime status through the AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program, your lifetime status means the lifetime of that program. For example, if you obtained lifetime AAdvantage Gold® through the AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program, then you have obtained such status for the duration of the AAdvantage Gold® program.

AAdvantage® status earned in connection with the AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program is personal to the AAdvantage® member who qualified for the AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ program and is non-transferable.

The name on your AAdvantage® account will be printed on your luggage tag.
By claiming the luggage tag, U.S. AAdvantage® members agree to receive marketing from American Airlines.
The luggage tag will be mailed to the address on your AAdvantage® account. If you do not have an address in your AAdvantage® account, please add an address to your profile before selecting.
Your name, AAdvantage® number, address and email address may be shared with our 3rd-party distributor (Specialty Print Communications) and shipping carrier for the purpose of fulfilling / shipping your product.
Allow 6 - 8 weeks for delivery. International locations and P.O. boxes may take longer.
Luggage tags available while supplies last.
Only members who qualify for AAdvantage® Million Miler℠ status starting March 1, 2026 will be eligible to receive a luggage tag with a limited-edition design marking our 100th year as an airline.
Luggage tag for the displayed status must be selected within 365 days after reaching the status; or before qualifying for a different Million Miler℠ status, whichever comes first.
